Indications

Emergency treatment of esophageal-gastric variceal bleeding due to cirrhosis, in combination with specific therapy (e.g., endoscopic sclerotherapy).
2. Symptom and sign relief in gastroenteropancreatic endocrine tumors.
3. Prevention of postoperative pancreatic complications.
4. Control of symptoms and reduction of growth hormone and IGF-1 levels in acromegaly patients who have failed surgery, radiotherapy, or dopamine agonist therapy.
